About MAD-Screener Tool
MAD-Screener uses a short series of guided selfies to pinpoint key facial features. It measures the angles, lengths and height ratios that research suggests matter for MAD candidacy and checks them against evidence-based thresholds. You’ll then see a summary of what those measurements mean. De-identified images from this experience may also be used to make MAD-Screener smarter in future; you can opt-out any time in the privacy settings.
Intended Use
The MAD-Screener is software tool intended for adults considering treatment for snoring or obstructive sleep apnoea. By capturing a short series of facial photographs, the selfie-based technology measures facial features and compares them with evidence-based thresholds linked to favorable outcomes with mandibular advancement devices (MADs).
The MAD-Screener does not diagnose disease, determine treatment, or replace professional clinical assessments. MAD-screener offers educational insights to guide users in seeking further assessment from healthcare providers. Always seek advice of your healthcare provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition.
